I am so 'In Like'

this is a song that i wrote just a few days ago. so heres the story: It was the day of a concert that our band was having. we had some stuff to set up at the location of our gig and we were basically there all day. earlier that week the girl who i like told me she couldn't make it that night to come see us play and it really got me down! i couldn't stop thinking about her all day and when i had some free time i pulled out the acoustic guitar and started to mess around. i found some chords that went good together and i started to sing some words. well a little while later and i had a song made up. of course the song is about my friend who couldn't make it. i was really sad because i had planned to ask her to be my girlfriend on stage that night. well i played this song to myself over and over just so i could be reminded of her. in the end it made me some what depressed and even more sad that i wouldn't see her that night. well 7 o'clock comes around and the show starts. we had a couple other local bands open for us. i stood in the crowd while the first band played. every few minutes i'd look around with some small hope that i'd see this girl and every time i'd look back to the stage in disappointment. i was starting to lose all hope and just give up whne my eyes were covered. i was spun around and my head angled downward, way down and then the hands were removed and before me stood the girl of my dreams. i freaked out!! i could not believe she was there!!! it made my week! and then i remembered the song i wrote earlier that day! so i ran to a back room in the building to hide from the noise of the other band and i played her this song!
